As of September 2, 2003 CHS Home Support Services has announced the development of its first web site.  The development was a group effort involving contributions from all areas of the company.  The site address is chshomesupportservices.chsli.org and is readily available for patients, their families, business partners, and other interested persons to learn more about our organization.

CHS Home Support Services is a division of Catholic Health Services of Long Island.  The agency is one of the preferred provider for the CHS hospitals and associated entities.  The company services thousands of patients monthly for home infusion, home medical equipment (HME) and respiratory services.

CHS Home Support Services provides service to its patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Our business hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.  We have an extensive On-Call system in place consisting of respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nurses and patient service technicians to insure that both our referral source and patient needs are met.

The company has been in business for 10 years under the original names Samaritan In-Home Respiratory Services and Samaritan Home Infusion Services.  In 2001 the two sister companies merged to form CHS Home Support Services and relocated their offices to Hauppauge, New York.  The company was accredited by the JCAHO in 2002.
